Welcome to the Laboratory of Optical Means of Information of
the Institute of Applied Optics of
the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

The Laboratory of Optical Means of Information was an organized research unit founded in 1971 that served as a focus for broad fundamental and applied research till 2005 in the following directions:

The objectives of the Laboratory were:
  • Formulation and execution of research programs
  • Training of Ph.D. students
  • Collaboration with related academic and industrial institutes
  • Acquisition of research funds
